Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and we had volunteers back in our community!

God is good, ever so good. For one of the first times since this was called a pandemic back in March and we made the decision with our community to suspend volunteers, we had volunteers back in our community! And what a joyous sight it was!
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Trenton, MI brought 30 volunteers of all ages to serve alongside our neighbors here in our community. Despite the cold, they worked hard to remove garbage and debris from an accident that occurred on the corner of Kelly and Houston Whittier. In just a couple of hours, our team made a night and day difference.
We are SO grateful for our friends at St. Paul Lutheran Church for their willingness to serve their neighbors today as we celebrate and remember the life of Martin Luther King Jr.!
