Sanquise was recently interviewed by two College of Creative Studies Students, Ben and Curran, for Camp Restore Detroit’s participation in Design Core’s City of Design Challenge. The interview will be used in CRD’s final presentation for the competition. During the interview, Sanquise discussed what she has learned so far from Design Core. One thing that she has learned is that inclusive design goes beyond gender and race, and that it expands to accessibility and age. Learning about inclusive design with Design Core has helped tremendously with the planning of a tech hub which includes a mobile library and maker’s space.
