We are so excited about the progress made on our community gardens this summer! We were able to get our garden boxes in, get vegetables and herbs planted, create a fitness trail around the space, and more. Now, we need local volunteers to help us maintain the space for community use. Here are some of the projects we need help with:
Gardens: So much upkeep! We have to mow, weed, and harvest weekly. Our campers have been doing a great job with this weekly, and now we need more gardeners and landscapers! We are also working on hosting pop-up Farmer’s Markets.
Landscaping
* Grass seed
* Plant flowers
* Lay concrete sidewalks and paths
