Hello, friends! This last week has been crazy busy at Camp Restore Detroit but so good! Here are some of the exciting things that happened!
Travels
This past week our intern, Bethany, traveled to northern Michigan for the Michigan District All Pastors’ Conference! It was a great time of connecting with ministry partners and supporters and sharing about the ministry of Camp Restore Detroit. At this conference we began advertising for our Big Week 2020! Following the All Pastors’ Conference, Bethany traveled down to St. Louis, Missouri for the LEA Convocation. At the LEA Convocation we partnered with Camp Restore NOLA and shared the ministry of both Camp Restores with our wonderful Lutheran Educators! We always love introducing others to the ministry of Camp Restore Detroit, and we cannot wait for the relationships and partnerships we will build in the future!
Second Annual Fundraiser Dinner
This Sunday evening was our Second Annual Fundraiser Dinner! The theme for dinner was Camp Restore Detroit’s impact, and we heard from our community, ministry partners, staff, and campers. We also shared the exciting things we have planning for 2020! A huge thank you to everyone who helped put together the dinner, to everyone who donated auction items, and to everyone who attended! The event, and our ministry at Camp Restore Detroit, would not be possible without you, and we cannot express how thankful we are for your continual support!
