Preparing for Isaac in New Orleans

News from NOLA, The Latest

Update: August 27, 2012-

Isaac is just about at hurricane status and we’ve made the necessary preparations at Camp. Now it’s time to hurry up and wait. We’ll be posting updates through the next few days, as we are able.

August 26, 2012-

As soon-to-be Hurricane Isaac approaches the Gulf Coast, the Camp Restore staff, along with our friends and neighbors in New Orleans and along the Gulf Coast, are going through the preparations needed to safely weather the storm. We thank everyone who has been praying for us and sharing in our concern as we watch Isaac.

The Camp staff will be meeting Monday morning to discuss specific plans, and by the end of the day Monday, preparations are expected to be completed at Camp.

We will be making regular updates via our Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as here at camprestore.org. Good sources for news on Isaac are wwltv.com, nola.com, and wunderground.com (especially Jeff Masters’ WunderBlog).

Thank you for all the support!

Peace,

The Camp Restore Staff
