August 27, 2013- Summer still sizzles here in New Orleans, but there's a breeze coming in off Lake Pontchartrain making the air less stifling. School is back in session and families gather over cereal bowls in the morning before rushing off to work and school. "Busy" doesn't seem to justify how hectic life is again.
We had a fantastic time serving around New Orleans the last week of June, with all sorts of projects going on, from construction to summer camps for youth to preparing cypress trees which will be planted in the wetlands!
Let we who've already discovered the joy of service continue to encourage one another and do everything we can to share this blessing with our friends, neighbors and countrymen!
