December 8, 2017- There are still many families in the Baton Rouge area working to get their homes restored following the flood of 2016. WBRZ TV in Baton Rouge followed up recently with Camp Restore - Baton Rouge.
Sept. 13, 2016- In response to the August flooding in Southeast Louisiana, we have partnered with Trinity Lutheran Church - Baton Rouge, a member of the Southern District - LCMS and wide range of nonprofits to establish Camp Restore - Baton Rouge.
October 10, 2014- "So, is everyone back yet?" This is an inevitable question when discussing New Orleans post-Katrina, and the short answer is no, after almost a decade there are about 100,000 residents who have not yet come back. But many are still working on it.
August 28, 2014- In many ways, New Orleans' story is also the story of 21st-century America. We have a lot of work to do, but we also have many new opportunities to use our God-given personal gifts and resources to do it.
