In theĀ late summer of 2017 theĀ United States experienced three Category-4 hurricane landfalls. Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria have inflicted tremendous damage.Ā Regular updates will be made here, as well as onĀ FacebookĀ andĀ Twitter.

Maria

Hurricane MariaĀ has knocked out power out across Puerto Rico and more than three million people areĀ continuing to assess the widespread damage.

Through our connections with Puerto Rican churches who’ve served with us in New Orleans, we are exploring ways we can help in the long term.

Irma andĀ Harvey

Our partners in the LCMS as well as fellow New Orleans-based nonprofits are developing volunteer sites in both Texas and Florida. We are working to come alongside in ways that are most-helpful as the long-term picture emerges.
