This is a continually changing situation and we will update our policy as needed. The safety of our campers and community are at the heart of all our decisions.

After having camp suspended for nearly a year, we are finally able to open our camp back up again to volunteers! Our hope and prayer is that we will be able to run camp, with careful rules an protocols, in a way that keeps our community and our campers as safe as possible. It is important to remember that we have all had different experiences with this pandemic and we need to be careful with our narratives and our actions. Our 9th precinct community has been greatly impacted by COVID-19– many have lost loved ones and jobs, turning their lives upside down. So here at Camp Restore, we work hard to show love and respect to our neighbors with our words and actions. We truly believe that if we work together, we can be safe and respectful as we open our doors once again!

What we will be doing:

  • Routine cleanings will be done daily while campers are staying on campus

  • Both staff and campers will be masked at all times when interacting with others

  • Staff will be enforcing COVID protocols to ensure safety to the best of their abilities

We are thrilled to be able to host campers and believe that despite the challenges over this past year, God is working everything for good within our community. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any concerns or questions!
