Updated March 6, 2017- Shortly before noon on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, an EF3 tornado touched down in New Orleans East and left several miles of destruction in its wake as it followed Chef Menteur Hwy to the east, passing within three blocks of Camp Restore - New Orleans.
