Put Your Skills to Work Serving!

Put Your Skills to Work Serving!

April 25th, 2012 by admin in Mission

Put your God-given talents, gifts and abilities to use in service to those in need throughout the Greater New Orleans area! We welcome mission-trip groups of all ages year-round as we continue to restore faith, home and community in the Name of Jesus in our city.

If your group wants to put your construction skills to use, there are still thousands of homes yet to be restored, especially around Camp Restore in New Orleans East, Lakeview, and the Lower Ninth Ward–some of the neighborhoods hardest-hit by Katrina. We plan to continue our reconstruction efforts until they are no longer needed. We figure that day is still years down the road with around 10,000 damaged and blighted properties left as of 2013.

Beyond construction, we’ve partnered with over 80 local nonprofit organizations, churches and schools who have opportunities for volunteers to put their God-given gifts to work helping others in need.
